Who we may earn from
Real Leonida may take part in affiliate programs run by travel and retail platforms, for example Booking.com, Viator, GetYourGuide, Expedia and Amazon. A link to a hotel search, a tour listing, a car rental or a product on one of these platforms may carry a code that identifies this site as the referrer. If we link to Amazon as an Amazon Associate, we earn from qualifying purchases. The list may change; the principle does not.
Links to parks, city pages, Rockstar’s own site and other sources of information are plain links and earn us nothing.
What commissions do not change
Commissions never decide what we recommend. The places on this site are here because they are the real places behind the game and worth visiting, and the practical sections are written the way we would tell a friend. A place does not get a page, or a warmer write-up, because there is a tour to sell on it. Where we say a tour is expensive, or a stretch of coast is better done on your own, we mean it, even when the alternative would have paid us.
We do not accept payment from hotels, tour operators, restaurants or destinations for coverage, and we do not run sponsored pages. If that ever changes, it will be labelled on the page.
